October 4, 2008- The Lady Comets placed 4th in the Union University Cross Country Invitational this weekend . With sophomore Tiffany Townsend placing finishing 16th in the race and first for the Lady Comets, with a time of 21:51. Junior Beth Hanna finished second for the Lady Comets with a time of 24:50, while freshman Denise Fitzpatrick finished with a time of 28:06. Juniors Jessica Morrow and Jelisa Scruggs finished the race with times of 28:32 and 29:35 giving the Lady Comets the necessary points to place 4th in the meet.
