Coach Jeremy Iwaszkowiec begins his second season with the Comets after finishing his inaugural year in 2007. Coach Iwaszkowiec finished last season with an overall record of 1 win 14 losses and 2 ties Despite the tough record, he is very excited about the direction of the program and is looking foward to the 2008 season. A good mix of returning and new players should add depth and stability to the roster. As long as the Comets can stay injury free, the future looks promising for this young program.
Iwaszkowiec comes to
Crichton College from Minneapolis, Minnesota and brings a rich knowledge of the game with him as well. Jeremy grew up playing soccer in St. Louis, Missouri for the Scott Gallagher Soccer Club. He graduated from Francis Howell North HS where he received numerous awards including Metro and State Player of the Year, NSCAA All-American, and NSCAA Player of the Region.

In 1998, Clemson was the # 1 team in the nation, with a record of 22-1 before falling to the eventual National Champions, Indiana University, in the quarterfinals.
After College, he relocated to the Twin Cities ( Minneapolis, Minnesota). He was drafted by the Minnesota Thunder of the USL First Division, however, for personal reasons, chose to pursue a professional occupation. While working as a Marketing Director, he coached various club and high school teams. Coach Iwaszkowiec brings experience and knowledge of the collegiate soccer game to Crichton College.
