September 16, 2008 -The Comets (1-4-1) soccer team traveled to Mayfield, KY to take on the 20th ranked Cougars of Mid-Continent University (2-1-1). The Comets were outshot by the Cougars 26-4, with 10 shots on goal, resulting in a 4-0 lost for the Comets. Junior Adimou Barry had one shot on goal, along with sophomore Todd Meyer and freshman Brandon Merritt, who also had a shot on goal. Junior keeper Bradley Greer, who ranks # 6 in NAIA Division 1 in saves per game (8.800) recorded 6 saves in the game, giving him 50 saves this season.

The Comets back in action Saturday September 20th at 2pm, when they travel to McKenzie, TN to take on Bethel College.
