September 6, 2008 - After a very quick turnaround the Comets travel back to Henderson to take on Harris-Stowe College (from St. Louis, MO.) A slow start in the first half allowed the Hornets to score the lone goal at the 23-minute mark. The Comets tried to answer in the second half by increasing the intesity and pressure but could not find the equalizer. The game ended 1-0. The Comets (1-2-0) will play Martin Methodist on Wednesday, September 10 at Mike Rose Soccer Complex at 4pm. Then back on their home field Saturday September 13th against Trevecca Nazaren,game starts at 4pm.
