Get to know the 2009 Senior Comets
April 26, 2009-The Comets split today's DH versus TranSouth Conference member Union University. Union won game one 6-2 in extra innings. In game two, senior Jesse Butler threw a complete game, two hitter as the Comets closed out the final chapter of Crichton College Baseball with a 3-1 win.[Learn More]
April 20, 2009-The Comets swept Central Baptist today by scores of 11-4 and 7-5. Senior Jeff DeLeon picked up the win in game one while sophomore Marty Roberson earned his second win of the year in game two. Offensively, the Comets were led by junior Clay McLain's two home runs plus a stand-up triple on the day. 
April 16, 2009- Crichton College’s Cory Chance is the NAIA Association of Independent Institutions Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 14, 2009.[Learn More]

April 14, 2009- The Comets swept today's double-header versus Central Baptist by scores of 7-4 and 6-4. Marty Roberson picked up the win in game one while John Sumerel both saved game one and won the second game in relief. The Comets were led offensively by Blake Trusty's 5-for-7 performance on the day. [Learn More]
April 10, 2009- Lindenwood University swept the Comets this weekend by scores of 8-4 and 14-4 on Friday and 15-2 and 14-4 on Saturday. Crichton next plays a double-header on Tuesday versus Central Baptist College beginining at 1:00pm at Gagliano Field.

April 5, 2009-The Comets were swept by Lambuth on Saturday by scores of 9-3 and 8-2. Poor defensive execution along with solid performances by both Eagles starters allowed Lambuth to take the series sweep.[Learn More]

The Lambuth Eagles scored three runs in the seventh to beat the Comets by a final score of 3-1. Senior Jesse Butler was the tough luck losing pitcher as both teams starters were outstanding only allowing four hits a piece..[Learn More]

April 1, 2009 The pitching combination of seniors Chris Garrett, Jesse Butler, and Jeff DeLeon along with junior Dave Ellison’s fifth home run of the season led the Comets to their 7-3 win over D2 Gulf South Conference member Harding University.
March 22, 2009- University of Saint Francis won this weekend's series beating the Comets by scores of 1-0 and 10-0. The Cougars pitching held the Comets in check allowing only four total hits in both games.

March 8, 2009- The Comets swept fellow A.I.I. Conference member Talladega College by scores of 10-0, 11-8, and 13-3. The Comets have won five in a row and improved to 10-8 on the season and 3-3 in the conference.

February 25, 2009- The Comet baseball team swept the Dragons of Lane College 11-1and 10-5 in a double header as John Sumerel and Blake Embrey both picked up a win.
